History

The Halton Centre for Child Care has operated as a licensed non-profit organization since it was established in 1991. Our Centre is governed by a Board of Directors. Our panel of Board members is comprised of professional, community and parent volunteers. Daily operations are managed by our Executive Director.  The Centre’s proximity to the Bronte Go Station and QEW makes our Centre both convenient and accessible.

The Halton Centre for Child Care has a long time affiliation with Sheridan College. Working with College faculty in the education and growth of Early Childhood Education students the Halton Centre regularly welcomes placement students into our program.

Committed to being the best we can be, the Halton Centre for Child Care is a proud partner in Quality First. “Centres that are a part of the Quality First initiative in Halton are committed to providing quality care for their children and families,” Mary Beth Jonz Director, Children’s Services, Halton Region.
