Welcome to the Halton Centre for Child Care
The Halton Centre for Child Care is made up of a family of staff who have a genuine love of teaching and caring for children. Each and every one of them live up to our values and are truly passionate about their profession.
We believe that each child is a unique human being influenced by the values, customs and behaviour of their family, peer group, teachers and society. We facilitate a child-based emergent curriculum that believes each child has the prerogative to grow and develop in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. We pride ourselves on providing nutritious meals to our children made at our centre.
We are a non-profit child care centre in Oakville, Ontario with an emergent curriculum that focuses on each child as a unique individual.

After first sending our daughter to HCCC 6 years ago, our son has had many of the same teachers she did, which speaks to the quality of the staff and how much they enjoy working at HCCC. The curriculum is interesting and stimulating and the rotating menus offer nutritious food that gently encourages the kids to expand their palates.
